The Kākāpō from the Māori, meaning 'night parrot', also known as an owl parrot is a species of large, flightless, nocturnal, ground-dwelling parrots endemic to Aotearoa. With a gorgeous green, speckled and beige-cream colour to their feathers, they remind me of old vintage Patagonia rhythm fleeces 🌲
