Words cannot begin to describe how proud I am of everybody on Student Government, everyone in Eastside’s student body, and everyone in our community who helped us raise $170k for @childrenscancerpartners. Because of your generosity, hundreds of families will no longer have to worry about how they’ll be able to afford the countless trips back and forth to their child’s treatment centers, the countless hotels needed to accommodate their travels, and the countless meals needed for these families to provide for their children. Every cent you helped raise will change lives. Thank you for donating, thank you for having fun this week(s), and thank you for creating a difference in our community. Being on Eastside’s Student Government for the past 4 years has been such a blessing. Working with the most genuine & dedicated group of people on a daily basis has been the greatest gift. I can’t believe my time on Student Government is almost over. I’m so honored to have been put into the position of Student Body President and I thank each and every one of you for trusting me to lead such an incredible group of people over these past 6 months. I can’t say that this week (or should I say month) went as planned, but that’s not to say that I’m not beyond grateful for how everything turned out.
