Thirteen years of cooking for my culinary-challenged husband but I feel lucky that he can turn his hand to a perfectly boiled egg when needs must, or a cheese and pickle sandwich at a moments notice. I’m not quite sure how I ended up with a tee-total vegetarian who sees food as fuel and shuns pasta and rice in favour of potatoes every time, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
