So here goes... This is my first original painting I’m sharing publicly. It takes a hell of a lot to share this side of me. It’s not like putting music out.. it’s hard to explain but it feels like a serious trust fall. As some of you know I deal with depression and anxiety on a daily basis and it stops me from doing so much.. But as I tell others.. You have to be brave and you can’t let the voices in your head win! Lately I’ve been feeling pretty down and lost in myself not to mention life has been heavy with lots of personal stresses going on. Anyway, Instead of letting those feelings consume me I leant into them. What you see here is the result of that. I want to thank @raisingbettleys for giving me the courage to see this through, her constant support in everything I do and also for having the patience of a saint.
