Essence Fest this year was a ✨movie✨⁣ ⁣ A few years ago, I had a conversation with some friends and said that I would go one day and participate in a panel....⁣ ⁣ ...and this weekend, I manifested that dream!⁣ ⁣ I spoke on a panel at the @unitedhealthcare stage discussing how social determinants of health impact Black Maternal Health. I was so encouraged by how engaged the audience was in this topic! I’m also glad these conversations are being brought to events like @essencefest. ⁣ ⁣ I got to spend time with my @onepeloton fam which was such a joy! It was great to finally meet people IRL after so many years of virtual meetings. I also got to meet a bunch amazing peeps who are part of the team that I’d never met before and so happy that I did!⁣ ⁣ Also, got to spend some quality time with my mom and see a phenomenal concert with some legends like @mspattilabelle @janetjackson.
