Heaven on Earth. That’s what I think we should be trying to find, whether our version of heaven is a person, a feeling or an actual geographical place. As long as a it’s here, on this Earth, not a promised eternal land after we say goodbye from this plane, after we’ve lived our life. Not something to work towards, some distant reward for our good behaviour, but something a lot more tangible. When we realise that it can be found anywhere, when we stop trying, when we see the interconnectedness, there’s no need to be anywhere else other than right here.* *Yeah, it’s a lot easier to be “right here” when right here is an empty Moroccan beach. But there are many other locations and ways of finding our own heaven and many don’t require anything nearly as huge as a plane ticket. P.s.: Love these beaches and these doggos?
