Unfortunately I see a lot of guests who lack the knowledge of the process and even with hair care with products. Stylists these days are either not taught, or do not explain this thoroughly in the consultation! Consultation is key. Have them give you a 5 year Hair history and hair inspiration pictures so you can get on the same page of what their ideal hair goals are. If you over promise a service to a client but then fail to make that come true, they will be unhappy because they are expecting what they wanted at that initial appointment.
