I’m always incredibly proud to represent GB 🇬🇧- since I was young I’ve admired athletes competing for their nations and every time I get to pull on National kit it brings a real sense of achievement. In a year blighted by injury, surgery and recovery it feels somewhat surreal that I’ve represented GB twice and in two new disciplines - e-sports and gravel. If you’d asked me last year I would have said my goals for 2022 revolved around the TT at Birmingham Commonwealth Games and the road world championships but I’m no less proud of what I’ve ended up achieving. I’ve now represented GB in the road race, TT, e-sports and gravel in various years at World Championship level and that feels pretty special to be honest!
