*Watches one Veronica Lake film* 🖤 I recently watched “This Gun for Hire” (1942) with Veronica Lake and Alan Ladd. It was actually the second Lake film I’d seen after “I Married A Witch,” a cute one to watch during the spooky season. I noticed that she always wore suuuper high platform heels, not only because they were in style but also because she was 4’11”. ♥️ I was inspired to take out my highest vintage-inspired heels and also attempt the iconic Veronica Lake hairstyle. Maybe I’ll make a tutorial video?? 🎥 I think “The Blue Dahlia” (1946) will be next on my list of film noir to watch.
