I became a better mother when... I looked at the palm of my child’s hand and realized how small it was. How small they were compared to universe they live in. How every word I said had meaning to them. How it would affect them for the rest of their lives. How I was their entire world, but little did they know I was just a piece in creating theirs. How if I wasn’t happy with myself, I couldn’t possibly have happy kids. And how even though I have changed as a person and will never be who I was before kids, I became someone completely better....
