We have *very limited* data about Monkeypox in pregnancy. The best strategy is to prevent infection (stay away from those who have open lesions) and if you have been exposed, seek post-exposure prophylaxis with vaccination as soon as possible. This is not yet a reason to panic, but I do want our public health organizations to take this seriously. The WHO has declared Monkeypox a global health emergency. Hopefully, we will have more data about Monkeypox in pregnancy soon, or better yet, that the spread will stop!
