The creative barman Bryan Schneider behind Bad Roman, Chez Zou, and Monkey Bar—just opened a Moby Dick–inspired bar at South Street Seaport. It’s a modern take on the Spouter Inn—the smoky, nautical tavern from Moby Dick’s Chapter 3, with New England-style small plates by chef Antonio Mora (ex-Daniel), art by Azikiwe Mohammed, and a curated bookshelf upstairs from Idler Books, run by the owner’s wife. Two levels: a driftwood bar and whale mural downstairs, and cozy wooden tables upstairs inlaid with mother-of-pearl. Friendly staff, great drinks—worth a stop if you’re in the area. Full menu + extra shots are up on my Threads if you’re curious 🐳📍Quick Eternity . . #bar #cocktail #nycbar #newyork #nyclife
