My first big vacation as an adult, and with my pal @rosannyzayas no less. What an amazing week. Did blend of some tourist-y things, but also made time to learn about various Mexican states, cultures, and histories (like the Mayan ruins of Chichin Itza). I wish I had more to say; that I could better describe just how magical, restorative, and truly transformative this trip was. But for now, I’ll just leave a few snippets here. Side note: someone requested Sweet Caroline and the entire [outside] bar (mostly tourists) joined in. Other nights included Salsa and Latin music, which felt more appropriate. *Will also say: grateful for amount of outdoor activities and options. Deciding to take a trip wasn’t easy, and I’m still committed to COVID-safe practices in whatever I do.
