Massive step for LGBTQ+ fertility equality in England 💖 Lesbians, bi women and some trans people had to go through several rounds of expensive intrauterine insemination that cost some as much as £25,000, before being considered for NHS-funded IVF. With many cis / straight couples qualifying for IVF on the NHS at no additional financial cost, this was a clear case of LGBTQ+ discrimination. This change wouldn’t have been possible without the tireless campaigning of @whatwegandidnext, Laura-Rose from @lgbt_mummies, Baroness Barker and every one of our supporters who wrote to their MPs demanding #IVFforAll. There’s still so much work to do, but this shows that when we all come together we can make change happen ✊
