Yesterday @leaderqlty was Blessed to launch our First Baby a Full Mural court in collaboration with the @detroitpistons!! In my hometown of Flint, Michigan!🏀🏀✨✨ “Where There Is Unity, There Is Strength” 🙏🏾 Designed by myself with input from my hometown community & Howard’s Helping Hands to represent the arms of Windiate Park, and the Love for the Game of basketball that UNITES the City Of Flint, It was painted by myself, my family, my community, @brandedarts and @a.l.wrk. Windiate Park (Pengelly Park) means so much to me my Dad’s best friend used to take me up to this park, it’s partially where I learned to be tough playing streetball, where I learned to Hoop! This is part of an 18 month series where I’ll be renovating courts in my hometown w/ Flint Native + @detroitpistons owner @tomgores And @flintnow! S/O to God forreal thank you Jesus for giving me the ability and talent to do things for a city that born and raised me even though I’ve moved! 🙏🏾🙇🏾‍♂️🤲🏾. S/o to the @detroitpistons, @tyrelavent, @eswill, @smclay111, @tomgores. When I presented this idea 15 months ago. It was dream. But they believed in me and my vision enough to collab with us!🧡 S/o @brandedarts @a.l.wrk and Tree for coming on board and being a MONSTER to lead with getting us to correctly scale the art and lay the design, step by step, gather materials, and weather the storms that come with all projects! S/o to @benjaminmoore of Birmingham & @homedepot for helping us get all the materials needed to complete this project, through paint shortages and delays!
