#PISTOL is out now! @disneyplus @fxnetworks @hulu I play the punk filmmaker, director and all round legend Julien Temple. For those of you who don’t know, Julien (amongst so much more gold) directed the Sex Pistols music videos as well as their notorious film The Great Rock n Roll Swindle. In ‘Pistol’ I’m not in the show all that much (pretty vacant you might say 😉) but just like reality Julien was an incredibly vital and important part of this moment in time. What a blast getting to meet him, hear his stories, and then getting to be a wee part of telling this larger story. Filming punk gigs right at the tail end of 2 years of lockdown was a cool way to break out and to work with Danny Boyle, Craig Pearce and the most incredible team was just 👌🏻 I had Never Mind The Bollocks on my wall as a teenager (as well as a dodgy bleached barnet 🥴) so this was an extra special one for me!
