But if there’s a time, it’s now! More and more ppl are displaced from Borikén every single day. I’m tired of sitting back and watching from the side lines. Between Benito and the many powerful voices I follow, I’m feeling the most empowered and capable I have in a while to use my privilege here in the states to protect ans preserve OUR land and communities. When I saw this video on @venusroots story over on the graham, I knew I HAD to share! As a Puerto Rican/Boriqua, it makes me beyond proud to see my ppl, my generation, stand for what we and our ancestors have always believed in.
