This is the 2nd cover representing the region of Visayas. There are 3 covers for the 3 regions, Mindanao in the south (where my mother is from), Visayas in the middle and Luzon in the north. Each cover showcases a Filipino designer. This design is by @chrisnickoffical and the head piece sculpture is by @jinggoybuensuceso We shot this on the tiny island of Biri. Most of the crew (local crew, Filipinos) had never heard of it. It was one of the most incredible places I had ever seen and so hard to get to I know its unlikely that I’ll ever go there again so I treasure the memories and all the shared photos on my iPhone of the few days we spent there. It took an entire day to get there by road, air, sea, and road again. We trekked to these heritage rock formations that were unlike anything I had ever seen and could only access during low tide. There would be moments of monsoon rain and we would wade through water over slippery rocks holding camera cases on our heads. At times it felt perilous. The entire team has scars to show for it.
