This was my first time dancing since I tore my meniscus in august at a show. My doctor said I could start dancing again but to take it easy, so naturally I jumped on a flight to cali to hit up San Manuel powwow that weekend lol. I decided To switch to chicken cause fancy is just too hard on my knee and I felt good all weekend. I competed but didn’t think Id place cause there was so many deadly dancers. I actually left early on Sunday and I ended up placing 3rd in my category, found out when I was already back in LA..I was honestly just happy to dance again, felt like it was really good medicine for my spirit.
