We did it! After years of organizing, building solidarity, and working with our communities, Measure A passed in L.A. County. Thanks to the efforts of the @check.the.sheriff coalition and families impacted by sheriff violence, Measure A will establish the power by the Board of Supervisors to remove a sheriff if they commit serious violations of our public trust. We look forward to working with the coalition to keep L.A. County Sheriff-elect Robert Luna and the board accountable to the people.
