It never goes over my head that there is real trust involved in taking someones photo. It’s an even bigger deal when it’s in the nude! Many of us might admire and appreciate these shots but would never consider doing it ourselves. Well, let me tell you, as a photographer, many of you tell me how nervous you are before the shoot. Some of you don’t even book a photo shoot because you are too nervous or feel unworthy. But I’m here to tell you, pretty much, every single person I’ve shot with has shared the same emotions. And interestingly enough, even though I’m on the other side of the lens, I feel nervous before a shoot too! Yup, I think to myself, “I hope I don’t disappoint them”. The thing is, some of us are nervous and afraid but go for it anyway and some of us do nothing about it. That’s the only difference. But remember, there is something so liberating and exhilarating about taking risks and seeing yourself in a new way! So, take more chances, go for it, whatever it is, big or small.
