I love to develop new products for the shop or think of unique floral designs for weddings and events that haven’t been done before. I often get asked to quote the same design I already made once or to make it again, but I always tell people I cannot copy my own work nor that of others.. (even if I wanted to, my work would never look the same as someone else’s). I never understand florists, planners or venues that blatantly copy paste the work of others, completely ignoring the fact how much thought and energy has gone into a design and the realization of that design. It would be so much more beautiful when you add your own twist to it. In the end, the great advantage of being a florist is your unique style, your own two hands that make the design and create the magic that defines your work 🪄 I guess my point is: be creative, be unique, I for sure aspire to be just that 🌻
