The Triple 7 crew are going to be conducting a second practice jump at Union Glacier Camp, Antarctica, this Sunday evening. If weather winds up canceling the skydiving scheduled for tomorrow morning, this evening's jump will officially start the clock for the world record. What's the Triple 7 expedition? Why are they doing this? Allow us to spin you up: The Triple 7 team has set out to break a world record by conducting 7 skydives across 7 continents in 7 days. The first stop is the most complicated, and where they are right now: Antarctica. That top image is from a recent practice jump down there. The intent with this expedition is to raise $7M for @foldsofhonor, an organization dedicated to providing scholarships for families of America's fallen or disables service members and first responders. Please head over and check them out if you haven't already, they are doing incredible work.
