The season of dark lager is upon us! This tasty little number goes live at 11am on Friday. Schwarzbier Well folks, with colder weather upon us there's nothing we want more than lower abv, drinkable dark beers. Thus begins a season of bringing you our ideal lineup of winter lagers and to kick things off, let's give a warm welcome to SCHWARZBIER! SCHWARZBIER comes to us from a deep Eastern German brewing tradition where attention to detail means everything, which is why we used a blend of rich Pilsner and Munich malts with a small bit of high quality German Roasted Barley step mashed through a range of temperatures to highlight notes of smooth cold brew coffee with a very slight roast character. We hopped in the kettle throughout the boil exclusively with a beautiful lot of Hallertau Mittelfrüh for a low touch of bitterness and small floral aroma that interacts beautifully with this malt focused bier. Finally, after fermenting with our preferred German Lager yeast and allowing for over a month of lagering at extremely cold temperature, Schwarzbier was filtered to clean up and highlight the harmony of each component piece that went into its creation, each at their own time... time... time... 🕰️ Come enjoy the mild weather with us and delight in all that this traditional bier has to offer. $15 per 4pk, 5% ABV.
