Let me talk about these guys right here. 2 of my neighbors in Puerto Rico Tony and Eliseo. I didn’t know these guys that well at that moment, but they needed help fixing a water pipe in the forest last week and I offed to help. We hiked with the tools and cable to the broken section and repaired it. This morning they called me to tell me they put my gates back on my fence and were gonna clean up all the tree branches and trash that are all over my property. I really can’t describe how lucky I am to have not only these guys but Felix who had helped me with a huge amount of construction, his sister who cooks us breakfast and lunch, his niece and her husband who reported the status of my place to me yesterday. This road is the 143 Aka La Ruta Panorámica in Toro Negro where I rescued Lunita, the other puppies and the 3 adult dogs. Fortunately our little neighborhood made it out in pretty good condition but areas close to us did not. Please donate if you can and spread awareness of the dire need for Infrastructure improvements to the island. This storm is another reminder that Puerto Rico has been neglected by the US gov for too long.
