Repost @iam_samata from 13th Nov 2020 ・・・ Let’s take a moment to talk about how challenging the way we talk about sustainability can be for young minds, for fragile minds, for all minds in the midst of the pandemic. The main way I keep my self sane in this space is by using my 80:20 rule and celebrating where I started, 20%, and my journey to 80%. Safe in the acknowledgement that I will never be 100% - and that is fine. Do listen. 🍃 I think we have to embed in people's minds the importance of doing what they can from where they are and recognizing that it's impossible to be 100. That's all, so I just wanted to share that because I've had a few messages recently from people who just feel powerless to stop, and I don't want that to be the case. I want them to feel that they can find their way on that sliding scale and they can just do the best that they can do and not feel like anything they do will never be good enough. 🍃 Celebrate your 80:20 and wherever you are with it!
