When I started @gr8collab, the first thing everyone said to me was, “So how does it feel to be your own boss?” to which I’d half jokingly respond, “My own boss? I have like 12 bosses now!” or “like everyday is both a Saturday and a Monday.” So now whenever I find myself becoming a bit too tethered to my computer, I force myself as far away from it as I can get for a day to remind myself that I am very much my own boss and a Thursday is a Saturday if I want it to be.
