That’s ok, we have a whole day of volunteering just around the corner! #NationalPublicLandsDay (NPLD), the nation's largest single-day volunteer effort, is September 24th! Led by the National Environmental Education Foundation (@neefusa_org), in partnership with the National Park Service and other federal agencies, now’s your chance to roll up your sleeves (there are events in the morning and afternoon) and help preserve public lands of all types and sizes—from iconic national parks and rivers to local urban green spaces and everything in between. NPLD is special because it provides all lovers of the environment—old and new—an opportunity to show our appreciation for these unique places. The National Park Service will provide FREE ADMISSION to all national parks on September 24. (For parks that require reservations or timed entry, they will still be required.)
