growing up I always wanted what I didn’t have, and I think we’ve all been there at some point. I used to spend hours straightening my hair to “fit in” and I wish I could go back and tell my younger self to appreciate what I was blessed with; to embrace my curls. ➰ last week I straightened my hair for the first time since high school and although the switch up was fun, it made me that much more grateful. long story short : don’t be afraid to be different.
