@nicolawelshhair shares a few different ways she root glosses ⬇️⬇️⬇️ I always root gloss on every guest and always on damp hair. I using 1 to 2 levels darker than the natural. For a darker rooted look and to delete lines. For a more soft blended look, I match to the natural base. To slightly blur. 1. Root tap This for me means just applying to a small area close to the scalp. To give longevity and to marry the colour together. Then I apply the global gloss to finish. I will use this for my guests who are wanting to see more brightness higher up 2. Rootshadow This technique is applied at the roots about 1 to 2 inches down, then I blended down softly. Using a blending brush. I will let this sit for 10/20 mins. 3. Rootmelt This is were I will apply normally 3 different shades down the hair and blend them together to give a beautiful seamless finish. I apply to the roots, mids and ends. I will do a root melt normally on longer hair lengths. The hair line can be left out until last on all 3 of these techniques and only applied for a few minutes. . . . #balayagehighlights #balayagehair #balayageblonde #hairgloss #balayageeducation #balayagespecialist #balayage #balayaged #livedinhair #haireducation #beautylaunchpad #redken #balayageartists #balayagecolor #balayagehighlight #livedincolor #blondebalayage #balayageexpert
