I have seen a lot more patients requesting tubals (aka permanent sterilization) in the last month than I have seen in a long time. ⁣ ⁣ And these people are SERIOUS. They want their Fallopian tubes removed, blocked, or whatever we can do to insure they don’t have a baby. ⁣ ⁣ Many cite a variety reasons - every single one of the reasons are valid. ⁣ ⁣ But a reason I hadn’t heard until a few weeks ago was that some of them fear that they may not have access to safe ways to end an unintended pregnancy. They want to insure that they don’t ever have to be in that position. ⁣ ⁣ These are very real considerations people are thinking about when determining their reproductive futures. ⁣ ⁣ I am here to help you in all choices you want to make with your body.
