Never linear, the winding journey inward is where you find your truest self—raw, unique, intrinsically luminous. It’s a practice that teaches you to love your skin and self through every stage of your metamorphosis. The dance of becoming and unbecoming, contracting and expanding. It is the movement of evolution. I am so overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of love and support you all have shown me in my last post. Such a big portion of my life was molded by the societal pressures of “beauty” in the age of social media and you all were there to see the undeniable change in so many aspects of my life, especially my physical self. Every time I look into the mirror NOW, I am so incredibly happy with who I see - ME, the real Jadé Marie. And I just hope this message is able to reach impressionable young people who are struggling with their self-image, with their mental health.
