👧 Little Amal, a twelve foot tall, ten-year-old Syrian girl designed by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company photographed for @newyorkermag Amal has travelled around the world spreading awareness for refugees and human rights with her walks in different cities. She’ll be walking the five boroughs starting tomorrow. It’s hard to describe how graceful and captivating she is in person so I’d highly recommend seeing her in person if you can.
