Oh my dearest Luna...Where do I even begin, 17 years together was never going to be enough. I was 9 + you were 6 weeks old, my first goat, I bottle fed you, took you everywhere with me. Even tried to take you to school some days. You’ll never be “just a goat”... you were my best friend, keeper of secrets. I didn’t play sports, wasn’t the kid with a lot of friends, all my extra time was with you. It was an honor to grow up with you. You taught me so much... especially patience. You were the most stubborn creature I had ever met, yet every year you let me dress you up for the costume class at the county fair. Super goat and 4-H girl, saving the world one glass of milk at a time. I don’t remember much about life before you so it’s hard to imagine going forward without you. I’ll think of you every time I look at the moon, my little Stella Luna 🤍
