RIP to my Grandma Betty - my Fashion Icon, my role model in fierce strength & wit, my favorite Warriors Game Companion, my biggest cheerleader. I will miss being gathered around your kitchen table, hearing your laugh while you animatedly told us stories about the amazing life you led. I will miss you always being the loudest cheerer at my brother’s baseball games. I will miss how in every conversation we had, you’d never fail to tell me the same 3 things: that I was your first grandchild, that you prayed for me every single day, and that I should never give up on my dreams. I will even miss your brutally savage honesty and comments on the quality of my complexion when it wasn’t all that clear or you thought my outfit was “too casual”. You have always been EXTRA in the best way and effortlessly knew how to SLAY a room with your style and presence. Thank you for the lessons in confidently, authentically taking up space in this world while also being such a contagious source of love and light. Thank you for holding up this family after Grandpa left early.
