So ofc my sleepy tired ass stayed up “til midnight so I could be one of the first to see Season 2 of #TheUpshaws - I know for some it may seem crazy to wait to view a show that I’ve been a part of in every step of the process- but honestly- I never want to be that person who’s so “over it” that I just treat this like another night- cause it’s not. So I’m staying up - because tbh- I am so very very proud of this show and absolutely EVERYONE who helped make it happen. So... To the cast who brought their A-game every week and made me tear up from laughter - To the writers who simply amazed me with their talent and their hearts and their ability to agree to a lunch spot every day- To the incredible crew who gave their all and more and never ever said “can’t “- To our fantastic directors who came to slay every week- To the other exec producers who always had my back (no matter what) - To all the folks at Netflix who believed in us and supported what we brought to the screen- to all of you- I am so grateful to and I THANK YOU FOR THIS NIGHT! I will never get tired of this joy. I hope all of you watching our new season enjoy what we’ve done. I hope it brings some smiles and laughs at a time when some are so needed.
