Tonight, I was taking a shower with Floy (4.5yo) when she looked and me and said, "Mommy, how did you get those tummy cracks?" I looked down to see her pointing at my stretch marks. I told her that when I grew her and her sissy in my tummy, my skin needed to stretch and my organs moved around and my body made space for them to have what they needed to be to grow into healthy little bubbas. She looked at me with tears in her eyes and said, "Mommy that been the most beautifullest thing I ever been heard, will I have tummy cracks someday? I want to have a strong tummy to grow a baby in and have those skin cracks too". I assured her that if she wanted to grow a baby someday she probably could get some tummy cracks too. She gave me a soapy squeeze. "I LOVE YOU mama, you are so pretty", she said with a lispy smile.
