Something I have learnt recently is the importance of maintaining good gut bacteria. We lose so much of it through the use of antibiotics, drinking cows milk (which contains antibiotics), alcohol, stress and lack of sleep. Good bacteria in the gut is important because it affects everything. Digestion of food being the most obvious, the release of vitamins in the body through food, de-bloat the stomach, but also plays a large role with brain function. You know when they say “trust your gut”? It’s because that “feeling” is a direct link to the brain and if you look after your gut well, you will make good decisions in life. (Refer to @drtaraswart’s The Source) You can get good bacteria from fermented foods like kefir, sauerkraut, and kimchi but it’s not enough. I’ve been using @symproveyourlife daily, a cupful every morning 10 minutes before my usual bulletproof coffee. Don’t bother with those fruit flavoured yogurts that claim to be full of good bacteria, the benefits are tiny and you’ll be loading up on sugar and/or aspartame which are bad for the gut and brain and goes against the whole point of taking the probiotic in the first instance. @symproveyourlife is superior for the main reason that it is water based, full of live bacteria and the solution doesn’t trigger digestion like other probiotics do.
