I was so deeply honored to attend last night’s Presidential State Dinner, the first of Biden’s presidency and my word- it was beautiful! A celebration of continued allyship. Thank you dear Henry Munoz for allowing me to accompany you & for sharing in my giddy excitement💜 The White House was filled with Xmas spirit, 🌈’s, and the beautiful music of @jonbatiste & the president’s own Marine Band✨ And to the angel who decided to seat me at the president’s table- it was a night I will never forget🙌🏾 Fun facts: -They played “Hail to the Chief” and I honestly welled up 🥹 - ran into Madame speaker in the restroom. Such a real moment. - Brigette Macron loved my dress, which warmed my heart as she is beyond charming and elegant! - sat next to the divine, thoughtful & lovely Hélène Arnault. Spoke of music, art, access to the cultural experiences and family💜
