Not Your Average Turkey... (Peking Turkey) #thanksgiving I think there’s a reason most people only cook a whole turkey once a year. At the end of the day it’s not the most flavorful protein. Even if it’s packed with seasoning, it’s so large that getting flavor distributed deeply is difficult, and it’s usually carried by sides, gravy and cranberry sauce. This turkey however changed my whole idea of what Turkey could be. The marinade provides an initial layer of flavor, followed by a second layer of seasoning, topped with a glaze that brings it all together. If you’re looking for something less traditional this year (or cooking two turkeys), I highly recommend giving this a shot! I’ll have the full recipe up on my website tonight!
