Mastering the bokashi effect. #Reverso _ Reverso Tribute Enamel Hokusai ‘Amida Falls’ Designed, made and assembled in our Manufacture _ To recreate the illusion of the woodblock printing technique of Hokusai’s masterpiece, our expert enameller had to develop a special technique. It allowed the reproduction of the characteristic bokashi effect of the subtly nuanced and graduated colours of works originally printed on paper, while also allowing to capture the vivid blues and yellows that are a signature of Hokusai’s work.
