Today I crawl out of my social media posting hiatus to give a few updates from the past season! Ft HRH Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex / @onyxfamily / @ladygaga / @shawnmendes 1) I am so so grateful to be named one of 20 @dianaaward Legacy winners! Out of hundreds of award winners from the last 2 years and thousands of nominations, 20 are selected by an independent judging panel - 10 from the UK and 10 internationally and supported by both of Princess Diana’s sons. She is my icon and namesake and I can’t wait to learn more from my fellow awardees next week in London as I represent the US. 2) I had the joyous honor of sharing a (delicious and vegan) meal with @onyxfamily for their new @youtube Originals series, Onyx Family Dinner, where we discussed youth mental health. I love this family!!! Pls adopt me hehe (and y’all should subscribe to them if you haven’t already - golden content) 3) Thank you to @ladygaga and @btwfoundation for including me in a cameo for their new mini-documentary, “The Power of Kindness”! 4) and of course, huge piles of love and gratitude to @shawnmendes for interviewing me and the @shawnfoundation team (@malianoel and @nikkibaptist especially) for making all this happen. Everyone I was lucky enough to meet throughout these processes have been just hands down incredible. It really is true that the older I get, the more I realize just how much I have yet to learn. Thank you for sharing with me your insights, cares, stories, and fights. I’ll keep doing my best to embody those spirits within myself and my work too, as long as I can!!! 😭💛💛
