And thank you mom and dad for not getting mad when I told you I was no longer going to med school and instead switching my major to theatre. 🤭 — Yo, this industry is hella hard. Of course, in a different way than being a doctor...But, I’ve struggled. A lot. To be seen. To be heard. To be given a fu&king chance. I have almost quit at least 100 times. So...this kind of support is meaningful to me. — I am so in love with every single human who worked on Untitled Baby Play and Celestial Events...the cast, the writers, the crew, the designers, the producers. And I’m so grateful for everyone who made it out to see the shows. The thing I love about theatre is that you do it simply for the sake of it. It’s about connecting, being present, and telling a story. It’s not captured and only exists in the energy of that space. — Playing Penny was an amazing challenging transformational experience. The feeling I have right now goes out to all the women in the world who continue to show up, even when it’s hard, and also to those who have stopped showing up, because it’s just too hard. — Hi I’m here.
