Easy Homemade Salad Dressings completely changed my relationship with salads! *recipe below*
Now the possibilities seem endless and I don’t have to worry about the dressing being the part of the salad that has ingredients I can’t eat or triggering my skin issues. Plus, homemade is SO delicious!
They’re also way more cost effective to make at home and so much better fresh 😋
Recipe:
1 lemon, juiced
1 garlic clove, minced
2-3 tsp olive oil
1-2 tsp coconut aminos,
1 tsp chia seeds
sea salt and pepper to taste
Optional additions:
1 tbs tahini
1 tsp minced rosemary
*You can omit the olive oil for tahini to make it completely oil free*
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a small bowl and mix until well combined.
Let sit for at-least 10 minutes to all the chia seeds to expanding (chia seeds are packed omegas making them a very skin healthy food!)
If adding tahini, you can also add an additional 1 tbs water.
Mix with a spoon until smooth.
Enjoy!
Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
