Sumba. We had initially planned on a Sumba trip for our pre-wed photos, which was supposed to take place in March. Sumba had been a place close to my heart, and Jon had been one of my biggest support systems as I worked on a church and community revitalisation project there. After many unforeseen postponements, we reluctantly cancelled our travel plans. But we decided, that irregardless, we could still do a Sumba-inspired photoshoot elsewhere, to share with others, our heart for the people of the land.
