Being “plus sized” finding a bra of any sort that fits right is difficult enough, let alone a sports bra. I use to wear 3-4 sports bras when I worked out. It was uncomfortable and limiting to say the least. The Rival bra by Nike has completely changed the game. Not once did I feel welcomed or like I belonged in that space. Whether it was PE teachers, the media, or my peers I was constantly being told someone with my body wasn’t capable. I believed it for so long. That I wasn’t enough. It wasn’t till 2 years ago that I finally started to see exercise as something other than punishment. I love celebrating what my body can do and working towards achieving more, like starting to run and lift heavier, doing the things that use to scare me. Shooting with Nike feels so unreal.
