Fashion Revolution Week and Earth Week are upon us! 🌏💛 To start this week, I wanted to provide a foundation of why advocating for a better industry is so necessary. The unfortunate reality of fashion is that it’s full of exploitation and harm, for both people and planet. We need a better industry so that we can learn to uplift the people who create our clothes and honor the planet that support us. Fashion Revolution week is an opportunity to spread awareness, advocate for a better industry, and create changes. Here’s how you can get involved: - Follow @fash_rev for more info and a full itinerary of the week. - Ask brands “Who made my clothes?” as a way to hold them accountable for their production processes. - Reach out to brands on social media or email to let them know what changes you want to see them make. - Write to a policy maker about legislation within fashion. - Learn to repair and take care of your clothes. - Invite a friend into the conversation and share why we need a better fashion industry.
