לקחתי את הבן שלי לנסיעת עסקים. למה בעצם עשיתי את זה?1. לבלות עם התינוק שלי נמצא גבוה מאוד בסדר העדיפויות שלי + אני מניקה מלא.2. אני אשת עסקים ונסיעות עסקים הכרחיות לפיתוח העסק שלי.3. אני עושה את מה שאני יכולה לאתגר את הסטטוס קוו. יכולתי להשאיר את התינוק שלי במלון עם בייביסיטר אבל לקחתי אותו עם הבייביסיטר איתי לפגישות בגלל שאני מאמינה שאימהות לא צריכות להסתיר את האימהות (בשורוק :)) שלהן כדי להצליח בעסקים. התפקיד של נשים בחברה המודרנית עדיין לא קיבל את ההכרה המלאה הראויה. זו לא אשמת אף אחד כי כולנו נולדנו למוסכמה הזו, אבל, נשים הן היצרן של המין האנושי. חברות קוראות לילדים שלנו לקוחות/משתמשים, ממשלות קוראות להם משלמי מיסים, קופות חולים קוראות להם פציינטים. הנקודה היא שכשתינוק נולד השוק גדל וכולם מרוויחים כלכלית, אבל האימא צריכה לוותר על החלומות שלה או למצוא ״סידורים״ לילדים כדי שלא יפריעו בדרך. אז (כשאני יכולה) אני מביאה את הילדים שלי איתי, ילדים הם חלק מהדרך לא הפרעה בדרך.בגלל שאני *גם* אימא *וגם* אשת עסקים I took my son with me on a business trip. Why did I do it? 1. Because spending time with my baby is very high in my priorities + I am nursing. 2. Because I am a business woman and work trips are crucial to develop my business. 3. Because I do what I can to change the status quo. I could have left him in the hotel with a sitter but instead I brought him with a sitter to my meetings because I believe mothers shouldn’t hide their motherhood to be successful in business. Women’s role in society has yet to be fully acknowledged, this is no one’s fault as we were all born to this convention. But, women are the manufacturers of humanity, companies call our babies customers or users, governments call them tax payers, health funds call them patients and the point is that when a baby is being born a new user is created, a new tax payer, a new patient. Everyone wins financially but the mother is expected to either give up her dreams or get “arrangements” for her kids so they are not in the way. So (when I can) I bring my kids with me, they are a part of the way not in the way.
