The upcoming Prime Video gay rom-com Red, White, and Royal Blue completed filming over the weekend. Taylor Zakhar Perez who is playing the role of Alex, the son of the fictional US President, confirmed the news alongside his co-star, Nicholas Galitzine, who plays love interest Prince Henry, on Instagram. “That’s a wrap on Red, White, and Royal Blue. I wish I could share more than this video, but I promise it’s worth the wait,” Perez wrote on Instagram. “Thank you to EVERYONE who worked to bring this world to life, OH WHAT A SUMMER!” he added. The film, based on Casey McQuiston’s bestselling 2019 novel, is set in a near-future world where the first female US President (played by Uma Thurman) is gearing up for reelection when the ‘first son’ Alex (Perez) is instructed to befriend British Prince Henry (Galitzine) following a diplomatic debacle.
