With close to 800 projects complete in 2022, International Sawyer partner, @opblue_ brought clean drinking water to hundreds of thousands of people in areas where the poverty line cuts deep and across many, with the majority of projects focusing on Kenya, specifically slum areas in and around Nairobi, as well as remote projects in the South East where drought and food shortages are crippling communities. They have also expanded into the health and education space. Their monitoring program regularly surveys past projects to ensure the longevity and positive impact of their solutions, including the implementation of Sawyer Filtration Systems. There is a significant decrease in waterborne disease in the areas they operate in resulting in an increase in school attendance.
